Judge Rosenbaum graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law and joined the Champaign County Public Defender’s Office. The Circuit Judges appointed him Chief Public Defender in 1998.

Judge Rosenbaum has tried some of the most high-profile criminal cases in Champaign County. He did so with integrity and was respected by prosecutors, law enforcement and the community for zealously representing his clients but also by doing justice.
